The Starfire U Juniors participated in a Service Learning Week with the Mayerson Foundation this past week. They partnered with local high schools to volunteer through Greater Cincinnati. As a team, they became a Flash Mob on Fountain Square on July 1st. They performed to Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror.” Please watch with amazement at a great partnership.
Starfire U is a unique program for young adults with developmental disabilities. It was started as a way to help these individuals grow socially and professionally beyond high school. Starfire has over 85 community partners in the Cincinnati area and over half of these community partners are also Chamber Members.
